Born on 5th February 1939 in Sindh Province (before partition), Mohan Lal Gurnani was a respected and kind-hearted man. A graduate in B.A., he served with dignity in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until retirement. Son of Sugnomal Gurnani and Dadan, he lived a life rooted in values, truth, and simplicity. He was a heart patient who bravely fought health challenges, including a bypass, but sadly passed away on 29th April 2021 due to COVID-19. A devoted husband to Shakuntla Gurnani, loving father to Gulshan Gurnani, Babita Sajnani, and Kavita Sharma, and a proud grandfather to Vidhi, Sneha, and Myraa—he never smoked or drank and always prioritized his family's happiness.
